Lecture Description (1 hr with Q&A):
American healthcare is in crisis. The cost of healthcare is rising exponentially and the number of uninsured is swelling past 45 million. 1 out of 2 people is chronically ill in America and the cost of prescription drugs is skyrocketing. Americans pay almost two times of what Canadians pay on healthcare but our longevity is not better.

We will learn why this problem is putting every American and the whole nation at risk. The course will provide the micro-economic and macro-economic framework to this problem and compare the solutions of other countries, as for example, Canada, Britain and Japan. The course will arm with valuable information and empower to take active part in this reform.
