Ravi Sahay is an adjunct faculty member at the Sperling School of Business at the University of Phoenix, San Diego Campus, where he teaches economics and statistics to both graduate and undergraduate students. Ravi has a keen interest in the economics of healthcare and the future of the healthcare industry. Through his research he raises public awareness of the looming health care crisis and speaks on ways of empowering American citizens to solve healthcare problems.

To this end, Ravi believes in diet, lifestyle and complimentary medicine, especially for chronic diseases. He believes that healthy competition to modem medicine could contain the rising healthcare costs and enhance the nation’s financial well being. He himself survived one in a million odds to be cure of so-called “incurable” ailments, which he discusses in a published a book, “My Health is Your Wealth.”

His story taps the power of the Internet, human spirit, and age-old wisdom of alternative medicine and moves people to action to solve the American healthcare crisis.
A native of India, Ravi speaks from personal experience about healthcare economics and well-being after having experienced a healing miracle himself.

Ravi earned his masters degree in electrical engineering from the City College of New York and an MBA from the University of Rochester. He has been warded nine patents. He presently serves as an intellectual property consultant.

Ravi lives in San Diego with his wife and two children. His hobbies are vegetable gardening, reading, travel and speaking.
